Muhammad Shahzad Muhammadi commonly known as Muhammad Shahzad was born in Nangarhar Province of Afghanistan on 31 January 1988.
Shahzad represents Afghanistan as wicketkeeper-batsman who is known as a hard big hitter for the ball. Shahzad played several blistering strokes to make the fastest century and fifty that’s how he is known for. He has a unique record of having a maximum number of T20 and T10 player of the match. He is the first Afghan player who has a maximum number of sixes, player of the match, most runs and fastest runs in all formats of the game.

On January 2016, Shahzad made 118 not out against Zimbabwe, highest individual score from an Associate nation in T20 and sixth highest of the all times. He is also regarded as the top 10 batsmen of the T20 International cricket. In Asia Cup 2018, he made a unique record, scoring a century against India when team total was just 131 thus equalling the record of Shahid Afridi.
