Muhammad Hafeez who is commonly known as “Professor” was born in Sargodha, Punjab Pakistan on 17 October 1980. Muhammad Hafeez is right-handed Pakistani batsman who also bowls casually. He remained at number 1 position as an all-rounder in 2012-2013 on ICC Player Rankings in T20 formats.
He is an intelligent Right-handed batsman and classy cover drives are considered textbook shots of the tournament. Muhammad Hafeez leads Pakistan to win several matches single-highhandedly.
Muhammad Hafeez created a record partnership of 224 runs with Nasir Jamshed. His mentality to pick up the loose balls at right time is his key to success.

He has been criticized much in South Africa series throwing his wicket away to Dale Steyn, a top listed right arm fast bowler. Muhammad Hafeez retired from Test Cricket in 2018.
He played for local Punjab and international teams like Lahore, Lahore Lions, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Sargodha. In 2015 he scored his test best of 224 runs against Bangladesh at Khulna during Dan Cake Series.
