The County Ground, Taunton is one of the biggest England Cricket ground where three matches of 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup matches will be played between Afghanistan Vs New Zealand, Australia Vs Pakistan and West Indies Vs Bangladesh. Though this ground has limited space for spectators, only 8500 cricket lovers can enjoy live match so the schedule has been designed only for three games where the attendance percentage of the crowd will be limited.
It is also known as Cooper Associates County Ground for sponsorship reasons and is home ground for Somerset County Cricket Club since 1882. Since 2019 World Cup all matches will be played only in England and Wales, so all grounds have been fully renovated and restored to an optimal level. Most importantly, this ground was first built for Taunton Athletic Club in 1881. Ground ends are the Somerset Pavilion End to the South and the River End to the north.
